In the shadow of the Himalayas' grandeur,
Lies a land of beauty, culture, and ardor.
Where the Gorkhas roam with pride,
In the valleys where dreams abide.
From Darjeeling's hills to Sikkim's embrace,
Nepali hearts beat with timeless grace.
Their language, a melody in the breeze,
Echoes of home, across the seas.
In temples adorned with marigold's hue,
Hindu gods and goddesses come into view.
And Buddhist chants fill the mountain air,
With prayers for peace, beyond compare.
Momos steam in the bustling street,
A taste of home, so savory and sweet.
Thukpa warms the soul on a chilly night,
In the glow of lanterns, burning bright.
With sarangi's song and madal's beat,
Nepali music, so pure and sweet.
Dancers whirl in colorful attire,
Their feet telling stories of joy and desire.
Thangka paintings, a window to the divine,
Capturing moments frozen in time.
Craftsmen carve tales in wood and stone,
Their artistry, a legacy to be known.
In Dashain's light, families unite,
In laughter, love, and pure delight.
Underneath the moon's gentle gaze,
They dance and sing, in ancient ways.
Oh, Nepali culture, rich and grand,
A mosaic woven by skilled hands.
In India's embrace, you find your home,
In hearts that beat with love alone.
