In the heart of the Himalayas, where dreams take flight, Lies Darjeeling, a vision of pure delight. Where snow-capped peaks kiss the morning sun, And tea gardens glisten, when the day is done. Majestic Kanchenjunga, towering high, A sentinel of beauty, against the sky. Its snow-clad peaks, a sight to behold, In Darjeeling's embrace, a story untold. Rolling hills adorned in green, Tea gardens stretch, a tranquil scene. Rows of bushes, neatly arrayed, Where tea leaves dance, in the breeze they're swayed. Along winding tracks, the Toy Train chugs, Through valleys and forests, it gently tugs. A journey of wonder, a ride to cherish, In Darjeeling's hills, where memories flourish. Flowers bloom in hues so rare, Rhododendrons, magnolias, fill the air. Birds sing sweet melodies, in nature's embrace, A symphony of life, a sacred space. Monasteries perched on hillsides steep, Where prayer flags flutter, in winds that sweep. Buddhist chants, in tranquil tones, Echo through valleys, to unknown zones. Colonial charm, amidst the mist, Cobbled streets, bygone era kissed. A legacy of yesteryears, in every brick and stone, In Darjeeling's streets, history's throne. Amidst the hustle and bustle, a peaceful refrain, Darjeeling's hills, where souls find gain. In nature's bounty, in cultural pride, In every moment, beauty resides. Oh, Darjeeling Hills, a treasure rare, In your embrace, we find solace fair. A sanctuary of dreams, where spirits find peace, In Darjeeling's hills, serenity's release.
