In Meghalaya's emerald hills,
Where nature's happiness spills,
Lies a festival, pure and bright,
Underneath the cherry blossom's light.
In autumn's tender embrace they bloom,
Cherry blossoms, a fragrant plume,
Painting skies with hues of pink,
As if nature stopped to think.
Amidst the breeze, they softly sway,
In Meghalaya's enchanting display,
Whispering secrets to the breeze,
Dancing under the pine trees.
Festive laughter fills the air,
As people gather, hearts laid bare,
Celebrating nature's fleeting grace,
In this sacred, timeless space.
Ode to the cherry blossoms fair,
In Meghalaya's homely care,
A festival of love and light,
All around the city the blossoms' flight.
So let us join this intriguing scene,
Where dreams and reality convene,
Lovely people and music so dear,
And cherry blossoms bloom everywhere.
