In Darjeeling, beneath the Kanchenjunga peak,
Where heritage whispers and tradition speak,
Lies a ritual cherished old and true,
Kul Puja, a bond between Him and you.
Gathered around the hearth, in reverence we stand,
Ancestral spirits, a guiding hand.
With offerings of flowers, fruits so sweet,
They honor our roots, in each heart beat.
Kul Devta, guardian of their clan,
In His presence, their spirits expand.
Blessings they seek, for their family tree,
Grant them prosperity, harmony, and glee.
Through generations, their light shines bright,
Symbol of love, in the darkest night.
In this sacred union, past and present entwine,
As they honour their ancestors, in this hymn divine.
So let them sing, let their voices soar,
In praise of those who've gone before.
Kul Puja, a culture woven with care,
Binding them close, in a bond rare.
