In Gorkhaland where the hills touch the sky,
Where Nepali spirits soar up high,
Daura-Suruwal, with colors bold,
A tale of heritage, proudly told.
With closed-neck shirts and trousers wide,
Men stride with grace, their culture's pride.
Bundi vests and Dhaka topi adorn,
Their attire speaks of mountains born.
Gunyo Cholo, in colour so bright,
Adorns Nepali women with delight.
Pothu skirts swish with every stride,
As Patuka shawls their beauty hide.
In Sikkim's hills and Darjeeling's breeze,
In Assam's valleys and Bengal's trees,
Nepali attire, a symbol grand,
Of unity and pride in every land.
With earrings gleaming, and bangles bright,
Their traditional dress a graceful sight.
In festivals and weddings, they dance and sing,
Their heritage alive in everything.
So let us celebrate, with hearts aglow,
The Nepali attire, with reverence bestowed.
For in each thread, a story's spun,
Of resilience, culture, and unity won.
