Elegy on Her Death

The mighty nature gave me a heart break,
The mighty nature took you away;
Is this the rule of the game,
Is this just the way

In the game of seek and hide,
I kept my senses open and wide;
You are still gone away,
Before even your hair turned grey

I wish I could hold on to you,
I wish I could pull you near;
The feelings that you are gone,
Tears me apart oh dear!

I can't see you even to the horizon,
Though the vision is clear and bright;
Unforseen outrage of nature,
And you are out of sight

In the game of seek and hide,
I kept my senses open wide;
You still managed to sneak away,
Never to return to our dismay

I bemoan your demise,
I'll  pray for your eternal rest;
I'll cherish all the memories,
 And will exist at your behest.
